Ken Christiansen
Early in his career, Ken was given a rare opportunity – to orchestrate the turnaround of a 75-year-old struggling business. During this process, Ken pursued an MBA, implementing each learned discipline in real-time. The core problem he encountered was the lack of accurate data to inform strategic and tactical decisions.
This being the early days of personal computers, industry-specific software did not exist. Over several years, Ken developed a full ERP solution, including inventory and job costing. New data revealed surprising insights compared to traditional “gut sense”, resulting in sweeping changes that restored the company to industry average profitability. This experience set Ken on a career path that would often combine CFO and COO roles, balancing the left-brain need for accuracy, with the right-brain desire for growth and change.
With the continued evolution of Salesforce, new industry-specific solutions are coming online constantly. Under Ken’s direction, augeō is aligning with leading industry partners and Accounting Seed to deliver key insights and actionable data.
